Become a SAYes Mentor

At SAYes we train and support mentors for young people
(14 – 25 years of age). Mentors meet for one hour a week, one-to-one with an individually matched mentee.

There are 40 eager young people enrolled as mentees in our Hout Bay Programmes.

If you think social poverty is a bigger problem than advice or handouts can solve. If you want to help, but know that professional and personalised support is essential to doing social change well AND if you are over 26, independent, knowledgeable and experienced, with great networks and a secure relationship style, then email volunteer@sayesmentoring.org to apply.

SAYes Mentoring has worked with Child & Youth Care Centres (Children’s Homes) throughout Cape Town for over 10 years. In partnership with the Department of Education, Silikamva High school, Hout Bay High School and local Community Based Organisations we are excited to launch our 2019 HOUT BAY PROGRAMMES.

The deadline for submitting a mentor application is April 15th 2019!
