Design a logo for the Hout Bay Partnership

The Hout Bay Partnership is calling for individuals to design a logo that gives expression to the organisation’s purpose and values. 

Our purpose is to promote integrated social and economic development to improve the livelihoods and quality

of life of Hout Bay residents. This will be achieved through building partnerships between residents, businesses and government.

The competition is open to individuals and organisations. Members of the HBP Board of Directors, staff and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the competition. Entrants must be able to enter into a legal contract.

How do I enter?

  1. Entries must conform to the Submission Guidelines stipulated on the Hout Bay Partnership website.
  2. No more than three entries are allowed per applicant.
  3. Entries may be sent by email to or handed to Ashley Newell, HBP project coordinator.
  4. The following information must be provided: name of applicant (individual or organisation), contact person (if an organisation), age (if an individual), legal status (if an organisation), contact phone number and email or address.

The deadline for entry is 5pm on 31 July 2015.


The winning designer will receive a R3 000 cash prize and be acknowledged on the Hout Bay Partnership website. The winner may work with the HBP and its chosen professional service provider to turn the concept into a final professional logo.
