Hout Bay Tourism Forum Announces Projects and Steering Committee



The Hout Bay Partnership recently announced the launch of the Hout Bay Tourism Forum and a briefing meeting on Sept 27th elected the steering committee and discussed the initial big projects. The objectives of the forum are to co-ordinate and promote all community tourism interests, to stimulate Hangberg & IY tourism entrepreneurs, and to develop tourism routes within the Hout Bay environment.

Open Africa has been appointed to develop two pilot projects and will shortly issue a call for proposals from interested entrepreneurs. In the longer term, a tourism hub will be established in the harbour area, to act as a convenient location for integrated professional tourism services and for entrepreneurs.
